Our Programs
We offer training for all levels of swimmer, ages 5 and up.
Swimmers advance as their skills progress from Novice level through Intermediate, Junior A or B, and Senior.

Novice
Novice swimmers are able to swim a 25m length on their front and on their back. Swimmers at this level develop the skills required to make swimming easier and more enjoyable, learning new skills such as safe diving and swimming in a lane with other swimmers. At this level, swimmers can optionally compete at the participation level of Swim NS’s Nova Tech program.
Monday: 4-5pm
Wednesday: 4-5pm
Saturday: 10-11am
Intermediate
The Intermediate swimmers have developed skills in all 4 strokes, can dive off the block, and know how to turn. Swimmers continue to develop their skills and strokes and enhance their opportunities in competition. The swimmers in this group are encouraged to compete in the Nova Tech program and can advance through that program to the age group level.
Tuesday: 4:30-5:30pm
Thursday: 4:30-5:30pm
Friday: 4:30-5:30pm
Saturday: 9-10am


Junior B
Swimmers in this group have graduated from Intermediate. They are also working to a higher level of competition, but this group also caters to the swimmer who has a greater load of other activities and wants to continue swimming.
Monday: 4-5:30pm
Tuesday: 4-5pm
Thursday: 4-5pm
Friday: 4-5pm
Saturday: 9-10:30am
Junior A
Swimmers in this group are those who have achieved the Junior Provincial qualifying standard, working towards qualification for the Senior Provincial Championships.
Monday: 4-5:30pm
Tuesday: 3:45-5:30pm
Wednesday: 3:45-5:30pm
Thursday: 3:45-5:30pm
Friday: 4-5:30pm
Saturday: 8-10am

Senior
Senior swimmers have advanced from Junior by having qualifying times for this level of competition. Work is similar to that done a the Junior level, but with a greater time commitment.
Monday: 4-5:30pm
Tuesday: 6-7:30am & 3:45-5:30pm
Wednesday: 3:45-5:30pm
Thursday: 6-7:30am & 3:45-5:30pm
Friday: 4-5:30pm
Saturday: 8-10am
Masters
The Masters program is for adults 18+ of all experience and ability levels, meeting in the early mornings 3 times a week at the pool to practice and exercise as a group.
Tuesday: 6-7:30am
Thursday 6-7:30am
Saturday: 8-9am
