Tritons Swimmers to Travel with Atlantic All Star Team

Wolfville, NS - Two swimmers with the Wolfville Tritons Swim Club will be traveling to Toronto, ON May 5-9, 2010 as members of the 2010 Atlantic All Star Team.

Kayla Boudreau and Rebecca MacPherson were both named to the team in March, which represents all four Atlantic Canadian provinces during a 3 day training camp and 2 day swim meet versus all stars from Ontario and Quebec.

The Tritons' head coach Chris Stone has been selected as the head coach of the team. Stone served as the head coach of the team in 2008 and was an assistant coach with the team in 2007.

"The tour is a great opportunity for swimmers from Atlantic Canada to come together and train and compete among the best in Eastern Canada," said Coach Stone.

"I'm certain that both Kayla and Rebecca will be great ambassadors for Wolfville, Nova Scotia and Atlantic Canada both in and out of the water," he added.

The remaining Tritons will also be in the water May 7-9 2010 as they compete at the 2010 Spring Invitational, held at Dalplex in Halifax, NS. 20 swimmers with the team will be making the trip to Halifax to compete in the three day meet.
