"Our swimmers have had some great successes at this meet in previous seasons, and I'm sure this year's meet will be no exception to that trend," said Tritons' head coach Chris Stone.
"We've all been training very hard for the past several months and are very excited to compete with some of Canada's best swimmers," said Ceilidh MacPherson, Tritons' swimmers representative.
Seven of the swimmers attending have competed at the meet in years past. Rebecca MacPherson will be joining older sisters Ceilidh and Kristen for the first time at the meet this year.
"We have several swimmers and relays poised in scoring and medal contention based on the seeding of the meet, so I'm really looking forward to seeing our swimmers step up to compete among the best in the country," said Coach Stone.
Competition will last from February 18-21 at the Napean Sportsplex in Ottawa. The Tritons be back in the water at next month's Short Course East Coast Championships in Charlottetown, PEI March 4-7 2010.
