Members are asked to please refer to the website for dates/times for details about the return to normal training schedules for training squads.

With the Holiday Break nearly here, there will be some changes for all of the training squads of the Tritons.
The last day of the training before Christmas for the club will be Thursday, December 17. The WTSC Christmas Party will be on Friday, December 18 from 5-7pm at New Minas Elementary.
The Wolfville Tritons annual Christmas Party will take place on Friday, December 18 from 5-7pm at New Minas Elementary School. There not be any swim practice that day for all groups.
The event is a pot luck style supper, with each family asked to please bring a dish or dessert to share. Please bring your own plates, drinks and cutlery.
Halifax, NS - The Wolfville Tritons Swim Club concluded the 2009 Swim Nova Scotia Team Championships with a solid second place this past weekend.
The Triton women were in a close race with the Halifax Trojans Aquatic Club for the overall title, while the Triton men finished the weekend in third place, for a combined team placing of second overall for the meet.
Halifax, NS - The Wolfville Tritons Swim Club has put in an impressive showing on the first night of the 2009 Swim Nova Scotia Team Championships.
Due our coaches' Acadia's December Exams and the timing of Nova Scotia Team Championships in Halifax this weekend, there will not be a Saturday morning practice this week.
All swimmers and families in the Black Training Squad are asked to note that there will be NO SATURDAY MORNING PRACTICE this Saturday, December 12.

All WTSC Swimmers and Parents are asked to please remember the change in practice times for Dec 7-18 are moved ahead 1 hour due to Acadia's December Exams.
Squads will continue to practice on their normal days, but practice times for the next 2 weeks are as follows:
WHITE - 5:00-5:45pm
BLUE - 5:00-6:00pm
BLACK - 5:30-7:00pm
JUNIOR - 5:00-7:00pm
SENIOR - 5:00-7:00pm
Due to Acadia University's December Exam schedule, WTSC has to move its practice times during the period of December 7-18. Practices will be moved ahead one hour for all training squads.
Please refer to the following schedule:
Senior - 5-7pm
Junior - 5-7pm
Black - 5:30-7pm
Blue - 5-6pm
White - 5-5:45pm
Morning practices will remain as usual during this period.
There will be a team bowling outing on Friday, November 27 from 7-9pm at Fairlanes Bowling in New Minas.

All swimmers who are entered in Friday night's events at the DCSC Invitational are asked to please note the change in warm up time for Friday's session.
Due to the extra heat of 800m's, the warm up will now run from 4:30-5:25pm with a 5:30pm start on Friday evening
The selection criteria and athlete intent forms for the 2010 Atlantic All Star Team have been released by Swim Nova Scotia.
All WTSC swimming families are asked to please note that there will be no swimming for all groups on Monday, October 12 due to the Thanksgiving Holiday.

Wolfville, NS - The Wolfville Tritons Swim Club is pleased to announce that they will be running their pre-competitive program again this fall. This program is an excellent introduction to competitive swimming, covering all four competitive strokes and other related skills.
A reminder to all swimmers in the Black and Junior Training Groups that Saturday morning practices begin this week. The schedules are:
BLACK TRAINING GROUP - 7:00-8:00am dryland & 8:00-9:00am swim
JUNIOR TRAINING GROUP - 7:00-7:30am dryland & 7:30-9:00am swim
Swimmers in the Junior Sprint and Senior Sprint training groups do not swim Saturday mornings.

The Annual General Meeting of the Wolfville Tritons Swim Club will take place Tuesday, September 29 in the Hall of Fame Room of the Acadia Athletics Complex.
The meeting will begin at 6:30pm. 2 Parent Participation Points are awarded for all parents in attendance.
A reminder to all swimmers in the Black, Junior & Senior Training Squads that Saturday morning practices don't begin until October 2, 2009.

Charlottetown, PE - Four swimmers with Team Nova Scotia from the Wolfville Tritons Swim Club put in very impressive performances during the 2009 Canada Summer Games this month in Charlottetown, PEI.
Luc Boudreau, Nicole Campbell, Mary Claire Lynch and Ceilidh MacPherson were named to the team in April for this year's Games, held August 16-29.
Wolfville, NS - Four swimmers with the Wolfville Tritons Swim Club are in the final stages of preparation for the 2009 Summer Canada Games, hosted in Charlottetown, PEI.
Montreal, QC - Luc Boudreau of the Wolfville Tritons Swim Club turned in a new provincial record in the 15-17 year old boy's 50m Breaststroke on the first day of the 2009 World Championship Trials in Montreal on Wednesday. Boudreau lowered the mark to 31.28 seconds for the event in a long course (50m long) pool.
Wolfville, NS - Nine members of the Wolfville Tritons Swim Club will be competing in at least one of two national level swim meets to be held in Montreal, QC during the month of July.
Wolfville - 17 swimmers with the Wolfville Tritons Swim Club put in a third place finish at the 2009 Ken Dunn Memorial Long Course Championships over the June 5-7 weekend.
Monday practices for all swimmers in the Black, Junior and Senior Training Squads are canceled for Monday, June 8th.
Practice will run as usual for swimmers in the White and Blue Training Squads.
All Triton swimmers, parents and families are formally invited to the WTSC annual year end banquet. The banquet will be held on Sunday, June 14 from 3:00-5:00pm in the Wolfville Room at the Acadia Athletics Complex.
With the season nearing an end, many parents and swimmers are wondering when the final day of practice will be. Please find below a list of final practices for each training squad for the 2009-10 season.

Wolfville, NS - Six members of the Wolfville Tritons Swim Club competed at the 2009 Swim Nova Scotia Junior Provincial Championships May 22-24. Jeremy Ingham, Jenna Juntermanns, Leigh Murphy, Jenna Myles, Emily Thompson and Jennifer Vibert represented the Tritons during the three day meet.
Because WTSC will be hosting the Swim Nova Scotia Junior Provincial Championships this coming weekend, there will be changes to the club's training schedule for Friday night and Saturday morning.
The Wolfville Tritons will be hosting the Junior Provincials on May 22-24.
Parents will be receiving a phone call in the coming days to donate items to the officials room and the canteen.This the only swim meet the club is this year and your support is greatly needed and appreciated.
There will be no swimming for all WTSC training squads over the May Long Weekend. This includes Saturday morning, Monday morning and afternoon practices.

The Wolfville Tritons' Nicole Campbell will be the subject of a feature section of Eastlink Magazine this week on Eastlink Television.
Nicole was the winner of Swim Nova Scotia's Female Swimmer of the Year award for 2009, as well as a national champion and medalist this season.
