Important Note for Parents:

Junior B Group: Friday practices will now be held from 4-5 pm. We have secured additional lane space on Fridays which has necessitated this change so that we can maximize space for other groups.

TRITONS HAVE STRONG SHOWING LOCALLY, HENGER COMPETES AT INTERNATIONAL MEET

Among the Wolfville Tritons turning in new personal best times at a pair of meets on the Dec. 3 and Dec. 10 weekends were, left to right, Celeste Mol, Sean Vibert, Andrew Archibald, Ava Vial and Bo Stokesbury-Price. Wolfville swimmers have achieved more than 150 new personal best times since the first of December.

During periods of inclement weather, Acadia campus will sometimes shut down, affecting our practice times. We encourage you to check the following for campus status before heading to Acadia.

 

When campus is closed, all facilitis are closed and scheduled activities are cancelled (Including external bookings).

Our policy is that if the Athletic Complex is open, practice will be held at it’s normally scheduled time. If an exception is made and practice is cancelled outside of these circumstances, it will be posted here, on Twitter and on Facebook. 


***As always, even when practice is a go we leave it to each family’s discretion whether it is safe for them to travel that day. Please make the choice that your family is comfortable with. 



CONGRATULATIONS BENJAMIN!!


Benjamin Henger has been at the Ontario Junior International Meet this past weekend, competing for Team Nova Scotia and he had an awesome meet! He had best times in the 100m back and the 200m IM (by a whopping 7.35 seconds in the IM!), made finals in 100m Butterfly and 200m Backstroke as well as swam on 3 relays. Congratulations to Benjamin on a fantastic meet!

LIVING THE DREAM: WOLFVILLE SWIMMER RETURNS TO COMPETITION AFTER FIGHTING CANCER, HIP REPLACEMENT

Jeremy Ingham is no stranger to the Acadia pool. The former Wolfville Triton, now a second year Acadia student, is back in the pool after a  malignant bone tumour and a hip replacement.
